About me...

I was born and raised in the city Borås, but now living in Floda just outside Gothenburg. I Started to take picures as a young teenager. My first real camera was a used Minolta SRT 101 from early 1970. I still have that camera and it's still fully functional.

After many years photographing in black and white, with many late nights in the darkroom, I took a break from photographing for some years. I took the step in to the digital world relativly late, in 2004, when I bought a digital camera before a trip to South Africa. The old analog cameras stays home nowdays!

Now I use Canons DSLRr's.

I've been working in the printing business since 1987.

I Love to travel and discover new places. Africa is my favourite continent, due to my interest in wildlife. So far I have been to Tanzania, Zanzibar, South Africa 3 times and Namibia 2 times, Botswana and Victoria falls in Zambia.

The Swedish nature is also a great source of joy and pleasure, and I try to photograph Swedish wildlife as often as I can.

Living together with my lovely Eva. Thank you Eva, for supporting me. It's your understanding that makes it possible for me to keep taking pictures.

My most smelly photo experience :

When I Photographed seals in Cap Cross, Namibia 2008.

Believe me, there aren't many things in this world than smells worse then a colony of more than 100.000 seals. And the fact that there were thosands of dead seal cubs didn't make it any better...

The strong smell stuck in our clothes and backpacks. Even though we washed them, the stench stayed for several days. The cameras and lenses smelled dead seal too, despite that I washed them of with soap and alcoho (Scotch singel malt whisky)l!!!
